We will not see those huge automobile stamp banners ever again, and I failed to lay away a sheet of those stamps. They never showed up in the re-usable postage boxes at the stamp stores. They are gone, and maybe the grandeur of this post office lobby will also be gone. Or, maybe it will be like the library and have food and knick knack shops as part of the lobby?
The motif here is Greater Vancouver in transition. With many exceptions.
Unless otherwise noted, most of the stuff here was created by Bernie Lyon, a Vancouver illustrator, and Lee Bacchus, a Vancouver photographer/writer. Our work has appeared in The Tyee, Vancouver Magazine and Western Living among others. Contact rlbacchus@gmail.com
