Another gem. I took a new pair of red pants to Kiku's Alterations today to have the legs shortened. Kiku has a nice machine, but not as nice as this one.
Hi Cousin I love the singer machine that Bernie drew, it reminded me of a singer machine that I took a photo of at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rhubsknit/4721857122/in/set-72157624201211709/ It was my mother's machine, your Aunt Kay's machine that she made all my clothes on when I was little. You can use the above link to see the machine on flickr if you have an account or you can just join flickr for free and access the photo. if you access it it is not the singer desk rather it stands alone. The desk machine is another one that is from John's side. love, Barbara (rhubs/rhubsknit)
ps love britta's work too and I am following her blog!
The motif here is Greater Vancouver in transition. With many exceptions.
Unless otherwise noted, most of the stuff here was created by Bernie Lyon, a Vancouver illustrator, and Lee Bacchus, a Vancouver photographer/writer. Our work has appeared in The Tyee, Vancouver Magazine and Western Living among others. Contact rlbacchus@gmail.com
