Sad, so very sad. That Leonard Schein couldn't convince the owner to keep the theatre open, pending approval by the City of a redevelopment plan, is a disappointment for all those who loved to sequester ourselves within The Hollywood for one of their odd, but often surprisingly invigorating, double bills. Too bad the new owner demanded an unreasonable and fiscally unsustainable amount for rental of the premises.
